A good, easy read with some astounding facts and figures. Beck did his research on this one (with tons of references for further reader research) and points out—as Thomas Paine did a couple centuries earlier—that allowing the government to grow larger and more powerful, usurping our individual freedoms is never productive and nearly always harmful. Some crazy stories from history that you’ve probably never heard, and definitely worth the short read. Will have you saying (quite often) … “Really?? Holy cow!”
