Love

Posted on April 1st, 2004 :: 9:59 am by Greg

So… I was listening to a song on the way to play some basketball this morning… and the words just slammed me in the face with the "power of love" (and no, I don’t mean the Huey Lewis version…) Listen… What I Would Say She was a lovely girl, a charming brown-eyed beauty You were…

Some things…

Posted on March 25th, 2004 :: 12:44 pm by Greg

You know, there are just some things in life that I could really do without. Brushing my teeth is definitely one of them. Don’t get me wrong… I enjoy the feeling and taste of a clean mouth. BUT, I just HATE standing at the sink brushing my teeth. I ALWAYS feel like I am wasting…

Sad…

Posted on March 24th, 2004 :: 10:52 pm by Greg

Longing

Posted on March 23rd, 2004 :: 1:43 pm by Greg

So… I wrote a song today. It may have come from all my recent feeling of helplessness with all the craziness in the middle east. All those folks killing each other and vowing to not stop till the last one of the other guys is dead. All the hatred. It’s so so crazy. And it…

The church

Posted on March 22nd, 2004 :: 11:46 am by Greg

Just been thinking again about what the church really is. This past week I was reminded (while I was in a mostly empty church building) that it is not about any of the programming we do (sorry to you worship planners out there…) it is so much about being the church. The group of people…

Legislating Morality

Posted on March 18th, 2004 :: 9:04 am by Greg

I just wanted to add a bit to one of the paragraphs below. I think Christians make a couple mistakes. (Well, we make LOTS of mistakes, but re: this issue… a couple.) šŸ™‚ (1) believing that we are still living in a Christian country. (2) That legislation (laws) will actually bring about a change of…

Some thoughts about "gay marriage"

Posted on March 17th, 2004 :: 10:56 pm by Greg

Every once in a while, a few of my friends from High School and I get into an e-mail discussion. You know, where everyone copies everyone and we’re all in on every reply. Sometimes that gets hard to keep up with, but last night i went through the past couple weeks worth and had some…

Web Design

Posted on March 15th, 2004 :: 10:56 pm by Greg

Ever since I was a kid… one of my most fun things to do was to create on the computer. I loved working in BASIC programming language – creating little games and programs… I even remember taking up ALL 16K on my TI-99/4a Computer with a program that displayed the American flag and played the…
