Author: Greg

Born in the now distant land of Springfield, OH, and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, I met my future wife Jen in the 8th grade in Earth Science (she was the girl with the big hair and glasses across the room...) Now reside in Palmyra, NY after having found ourselves residing in various homes and domiciles all over the country as we traveled and sang about the Kingdom of God with our growing brood of kids in tow. I now get to design websites and other things graphical for folks around me, as well as sell Apple (Computer) products to anyone who may be interested. Alex’s Day

Posted on October 6th, 2004 :: 10:42 am by Greg

Just a quick recap of some craziness last night… Yesterday being Alex’s birthday, we had lots of fun planned… and for our part, it went pretty well. He wanted a red cake, so that morning, I baked him a red velvet cake with vanilla icing topped with M & Ms! (his favorite!) Mom made him…

Debate #2

Posted on October 6th, 2004 :: 9:39 am by Greg

OK, I said this is not a political blog, and it is not. But at the moment, that is what we are watching, and perhaps you are as well. And, well… last night, I just lost some more respect for politics. Not as much for Cheney, though he did his share of tearing down the…

Alexander Caedon Campbell – Three

Posted on October 5th, 2004 :: 9:21 am by Greg

Three years ago, we were blessed with an amazing child. His name is Alex. He is still amazing. ๐Ÿ™‚ On Oct 4th, we were doing a concert in our park in Palmyra (yes, that in itself was crazy…) and Jen was in labor, ready to have a baby… which was the REALLY crazy part. We…

Politics

Posted on October 4th, 2004 :: 9:23 am by Greg

I don’t usually talk about politics here, because, you know, I don’t really care. ๐Ÿ™‚ Mostly it’s just a bunch of crazy people who like to be in the spotlight and have a sense of power… lots of lies, or at least twisting and spinning the truth and deception to get there, and even to…

0-3

Posted on October 4th, 2004 :: 8:28 am by Greg

I think that the Buffalo Bills may be, by the end of the season, the MOST exciting 0-16 team ever there was. Travis Henry ran for 98 great yards. Eric Moulds looked amazing. He even caught a long TD pass. Bledsoe didn’t look horrible. The defense was forcing turnovers. Even the punter, Brian Moorman (who…

The Dream Giver

Posted on October 1st, 2004 :: 12:47 pm by Greg

The Dream Giver At the strong recommendation of several close friends, I finally got a chance to read the book, The Dream Giver by Bruce Wilkinson. Just completed it this morning (here on VACATION!!!!! Which, by the way, will explain my prolonged absence from blogging… have tried to actually limit computer time and spend as…

I Love Jen :-)

Posted on October 1st, 2004 :: 12:45 pm by Greg

A friend of ours wrote a nice poem about his wife recently, and I thought it was pretty cool, and I’m feelin’ the love for Jen… so… enjoy. Think deeply on the lines that follow, and the literary form therein. Not too deeply, or your head will surely spin… Jen is by far my best…

Age to Age

Posted on September 26th, 2004 :: 10:15 pm by Greg

I saw decades of time pass in only a few steps through Wegman’s Market today. First, as I was hurrying through the store to grab some diapers for our third child, Kirsten, I noticed a young couple apparently discussing which variety of bread they might need to take home. The first thing I noticed was…

Posted on September 24th, 2004 :: 10:30 am by Greg

Just for the frequent readers of this blog page… I have been busy of late, so have had lots of things to comment on, but no time to get them blogged… So, I did that today. I believe this particular post will be the fifth today. So read further if you like. ๐Ÿ™‚ It’s a…
