Dave Ramsey does a really good (yet at times, overly blunt) job of presenting the case for managing and growing your money without the use of debt. Eliminating debt completely is the main objective of the “total money makeover,” as well as—as you might imagine from the title—learning to see your money in a completely different way. There are dozens (maybe 100?) stories throughout the book of real people who, by following Ramsey’s plan, got out of crushing debt in a reasonably small amount of time. And are now working on building wealth, rather than increasing debt—and bondage to that debt.

It’s really very good, some great principles. Only gets and 8 rating because of his “bluntness” sometimes coming across very arrogantly. Might turn some people off, which is too bad. I do highly recommend his “system” and his principles.
