Cooling Off

Posted on April 23rd, 2007 :: 4:09 pm by Greg

Me and my hard-working ‘puters can’t take temps hovering around 90 degrees! I have relocated my office (temporarily, and just to finish up a thing or two) to the BASEMENT. It is much nicer down here. There’s a nice table, and it’s a much nicer temperature! (Probably in the 50s) 🙂 I need a better…

Looks like the Sabres/Rangers series will begin Wednesday night in Buffalo. The Lower Hudson Online (the Journal News) is reporting that the Rangers have received the preliminary schedule. I can’t wait! Go Sabres!!!

Damage Control

Posted on April 23rd, 2007 :: 11:20 am by Greg

I have been refraining from any comment on the events that transpired at Virginia Tech last week. I did post the one e-mail we received from our friend at VT. I thought it was a good “different” perspective on what happened. There was no need to rehash the events “news-style” here. It just felt over-done…

Another Personality Test?

Posted on April 23rd, 2007 :: 10:59 am by Greg

Following a link my parents sent in an email to a site I had heard of before, but did not previously sign up for… I created an account at StumbleUpon.com and took their personality test. Gotta love those personality tests… ENFP – “Journalist”. Uncanny sense of the motivations of others. Life is an exciting drama….

Campbells of the Woods

Posted on April 23rd, 2007 :: 9:24 am by Greg

Well, not really the woods so much, but we sure did spend a LOT of time outdoors this weekend!!! I had really two goals this weekend. I wanted to clean out our van, which was just disgusting after a whole winter of not being cleaned. Then, I hoped we could get all the sticks and…

Ryan Miller’s Big Save!

Posted on April 21st, 2007 :: 4:51 pm by Greg

I wrote up a nice review of the game last night, but a website crashed my browser 🙁 I was looking for a video of Ryan Miller’s big save on NBC.com and some video on their site made my browser shut down 🙁 So, no good review… just click the photo above to watch the…

Mission (Mostly) Accomplished

Posted on April 21st, 2007 :: 4:30 pm by Greg

With the warmer weather, we all headed outside today to get to work on some post-winter, outdoor jobs. I spent 3.5 hours cleaning out the winter “collection” from our van. Oh man, it was bad! But it’s not now. It’s almost like brand new! Sorta… While I did that, Jen and the kids picked up…

Fourth?

Posted on April 20th, 2007 :: 9:24 am by Greg

The Buffalo Sabres were the one team everyone figured was a lock to advance to the second round. The outcome of every other series going into round one of the Stanley Cup playoffs was at least a little bit in question. But almost everyone agreed that there was really no chance that the Islanders could…

Sabres Lead 3-1

Posted on April 19th, 2007 :: 10:18 am by Greg

Chris Drury scored two more goals as the Sabres outplayed the scrappy Islanders, taking a 3-1 series lead with the win. The Sabres were the better team overall, but they never could put it away by scoring a few “buffer goals”. The lead was only one goal until Jason Pominville scored on an oustanding individual…
