Christmas Shoppers Surprise With “Hallelujah Chorus”

Posted on November 11th, 2010 :: 8:58 amAugust 1st, 2013 :: 10:04 am by Greg

I will add, however, that it would have been fun to join in had I been one of the Christmas shoppers taken by surprise. 🙂 (I’m sure many did!) From the creator of this video, and this event:…

Good (Competitive) Family Fun!

Posted on September 23rd, 2010 :: 6:42 am by Greg

For the last two, or maybe three years we Campbells have been having some more interactive fun with the weekly NFL games. Not only do we enjoy watching as much of them as we can on weekends, we also try to predict the outcome of each, and we have quite the “set up” to track…

Grime’s Glen

Posted on July 31st, 2010 :: 9:42 am by Greg

Unexpected Fun at Swift’s Landing Park

Posted on June 18th, 2010 :: 7:33 am by Greg

Following some errands yesterday (which mostly didn’t go as planned, since, due to a much later start to our excursion, everything was closing on us!) on a lovely, nearly-summer’s night with a beautiful sunset, I decided that we should finish off the day with a visit to a local park. It’s a small county park…

Math Whiz

Posted on June 7th, 2010 :: 8:16 am by Greg

I have mentioned here many times before that my Dad (probably much like your Dad?) is a great proponent of the email forward. 🙂 Now, honestly, I don’t like email forwards, I don’t trust them, and usually I just delete them. But I’ll at least scan> most of the ones that come in from my…

StumbleUpon: Discover Great Stuff

Posted on April 3rd, 2010 :: 5:12 pm by Greg

I have a recommendation for you today. A long while ago, I was introduced to a website/technology called StumbleUpon. You may have noticed the little icon down in the “Share this post” bar below… . Well, that’s for StumbleUpon. How it works is, you set up your free account with them, and then bring up…

Trololo?

Posted on March 27th, 2010 :: 8:15 pm by Greg

Thanks to a friend of ours, we have now been exposed to an apparent internet phenomenon, a video of a lip-syncing Russian from 1978, singing a song without any words. Yes. You read that right. The reason we know it’s a phenomenon is the incredible number of alternate versions available on YouTube, including this very…

Give It Back!

Posted on March 12th, 2010 :: 8:13 pmMarch 12th, 2010 :: 8:14 pm by Greg

Our current favorite ad during Sabres’ games these days is one the announcers read for the Upstate New York Transplant Services, that says: “You’ve been given the gift of life… give it back.” Depending on your inflection … it can be quite funny!

Pizza Makers

Posted on February 10th, 2010 :: 9:49 am by Greg

We decided, sort of last-minute, to head out to one of our favorite places last night (Leo’s Pizza) and take advantage of the kids eat free Tuesday special ( …we have a lot of kids!!) We also got to drop by and celebrate a birthday with some friends, so it was a fun night out!…
