Deconstruction

Estimated reading time: 1 minute(s)

I had Kirstie up in my office today for about 30 minutes (before her nap, and after Jen left for an appointment). She was supposed to play with toys and read books while I worked. Well, that didn’t work. 🙂

So, I got down from my desk and played blocks with her. We built a few lincoln log houses and played with the windows and doors in them, and the little men that go in and out. It was fun.

However, I noticed that it is so much easier to tear down than it is to build up! We would painstakingly add each log, carefully engineering each step of the process, and then two seconds after it was done, her tiny hand was demolinshing our new creation!

Oh well. We had fun. 🙂
