Author: Greg

Born in the now distant land of Springfield, OH, and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, I met my future wife Jen in the 8th grade in Earth Science (she was the girl with the big hair and glasses across the room...) Now reside in Palmyra, NY after having found ourselves residing in various homes and domiciles all over the country as we traveled and sang about the Kingdom of God with our growing brood of kids in tow. I now get to design websites and other things graphical for folks around me, as well as sell Apple (Computer) products to anyone who may be interested. Posted on October 22nd, 2003 :: 10:09 pm by Greg

SO… here’s our crazy story. Last night, on our way to get some dinner (we were walking from our hotel to a restaurant around the corner) there was a man named George who was carrying a gas can, who approached us asking for some money to get gas. We listened and offered to help… and…

Posted on October 21st, 2003 :: 6:52 pm by Greg

Our God is a great big God… Our God is a great big God Our God is a great big God… And He holds us in His hands This morning we got to do a chapel for about 200 plus K-4 kids. And that song above was the central theme for what we were talking…

Some of you think that we are crazy. That we are away from home entirely too much. "How do you do it?" is one question we are asked a lot. Well… sometimes it does get wearisome but… most times it’s OK. We don’t mind it, cause we know we are coming home, and there is…

Review…

Posted on October 19th, 2003 :: 12:30 am by Greg

I just realized that I have not done a very good job here of reviewing the days that have been… that has been one of the main functions of our journal page in the past. When we travel on extended tours, we would keep a record of the various things that happened each day. Well,…

This Journey

Posted on October 15th, 2003 :: 2:35 pm by Greg

I have noticed that when I write a song… it often consumes most of my day, even if I don’t take very long to actually "write" the song. It may take me less than an hour to write the song, but then the next 4 are spent playing it, learning it, recording it, charting it,…

Posted on October 14th, 2003 :: 10:45 pm by Greg

Have you ever been to a Chiropractor? Have you ever said you would NEVER go to a Chiropractor? I feel kinda weird about chiropracticism… (or, whatever that might be called). I mean… you go in and they crack and twist you… that doesn’t seem nice. I like my back where it is thank you… BUT,…

Perspective

Posted on October 11th, 2003 :: 7:58 pm by Greg

I was just thinking… much of life is how you see it. Where you see it from. I was just thinking about that awesome, amazing way we saw God come through with this van – it is way more than we can afford, and yet it was sold to us right in our price range…….
