Getting Warmer…

Posted on March 14th, 2007 :: 10:00 am by Greg

I am very different from most other people. Many of you reading this website know that already, as you know me outside of my blog. But for those of you who might just be passing by, or only know me from my blog (hmm… you may still be able to know that I’m a bit…

Why Do We Love?

Posted on February 27th, 2007 :: 5:21 pm by Greg

I went for my morning walk today, despite the couple inches of snow on the ground from a persistent late-winter blanketing we are getting this week. (AND I AM LOVING!) ๐Ÿ™‚ I was up pretty early to help Julia and then just decided to head out for a nice brisk walk with my iPod shuffle…

Lunar Eclipse March 3rd

Posted on February 13th, 2007 :: 2:34 pm by Greg

Saw this come across my desktop today, and wanted to share. I’m a huge fan of things that happen outside of our atmosphere… this should be pretty cool. Check the page below for the story and a map of when and where to watch ๐Ÿ™‚ NASA – March 3, 2007, Lunar Eclipse

That’s About Right…

Posted on January 31st, 2007 :: 10:27 am by Greg

Thanks to Chris for posting one of these quizzes to his blog, which I then clicked and saw this particular one… If you know me, you’ll agree that it’s pretty accurate… ๐Ÿ™‚ You Are 50% Boyish and 50% Girlish You are pretty evenly split down the middle – a total eunuch.Okay, kidding about the eunuch…

Peace and Quiet?

Posted on January 15th, 2007 :: 7:25 am by Greg

So, yesterday afternoon, we drove the kids over to Grandma & Grandpa’s (well, almost all the way there…. we met in the middle…) and now we have a couple days with no kids! That’s great on a couple accounts… 1) Grandma LOVES to have her grandkids… especially stay overnight, and 2) we get to have…

2006

Posted on January 1st, 2007 :: 1:56 am by Greg

I must begin this look back at 2006 with a short commentary on what we just stayed up to witness as a family on our TV. The Ball Drop. Every year it’s the same thing… ridiculous people saying ridiculous things (for hours!) while surrounded by a million other ridiculously dressed people waiting for the clock…

Where We Stand

Posted on December 18th, 2006 :: 3:16 am by Greg

Well, there is way more than I can or should write right now. It’s 3am, and we spent today doing laundry, dishes, more laundry, changing the sheets on every bed, still more laundry, listening to the Bills game (it was blacked out here…), folding laundry, watching Santa Clause 2 (the Tim Allen movie) and then…

Hard Day

Posted on December 13th, 2006 :: 1:00 pm by Greg

This day started out like many have recently. I was tired from the long day before, and overwhelmed with how many different things I needed to do this day. I fell asleep by 4:30am or so the night before, and then, with the regular hustle and bustle of life around here (except perhaps a bit…

So Far, So Good

Posted on December 7th, 2006 :: 1:43 amJanuary 20th, 2010 :: 12:28 am by Greg

I may have mentioned here, but I know I have mentioned elsewhere, that this week is going to be totally insane. I have lots of open projects for Basic Web Design & Graphics, and we are also doing a Christmas Concert Blitz this week! Concerts every night from Tues-Friday, and then two on Saturday! Fun!…

Posted on December 5th, 2006 :: 5:27 pm by Greg

For anyone out there reading this who has had arepas before (a very cool little Venezuelan/South American treat) I have found Arepa mix in our local grocery stores!!! (Used to have to order it online…) Now you can go to Wegmans and pick up a bag of Goya’s Masarepa for just a couple bucks and…
