Author: Greg

Born in the now distant land of Springfield, OH, and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, I met my future wife Jen in the 8th grade in Earth Science (she was the girl with the big hair and glasses across the room...) Now reside in Palmyra, NY after having found ourselves residing in various homes and domiciles all over the country as we traveled and sang about the Kingdom of God with our growing brood of kids in tow. I now get to design websites and other things graphical for folks around me, as well as sell Apple (Computer) products to anyone who may be interested. Fingernails and Jesus

Posted on November 16th, 2006 :: 11:56 amJanuary 20th, 2010 :: 12:31 am by Greg

This morning as the boys and I were reading through John (our latest morning read) I was struck by a simple line that John (who is known as “The Baptist”) spoke. Regarding Jesus baptizing more people than he was at that moment, he replied, “No one can do anything unless God in heaven allows it.”…

Which God Did This?

Posted on November 14th, 2006 :: 11:39 am by Greg

I am working on a website for a video that some friends of mine had a big part in making. The video is being produced by a former member of the Mormon church who has since discovered evidence upon evidence that what the Mormons teach just does not hold up. The video is very thorough,…

Group Think

If you know me in the slightest, you know that I am not at all the political sort. When I was at Michigan State, almost 15 years ago now, we lived in suites (two rooms shared a common bathroom). One of the guys in the other suite connected to mine was a super, duper, dee-duper…

Cute Campbell Kid Stories

Posted on November 9th, 2006 :: 9:08 amJanuary 20th, 2010 :: 12:34 am by Greg

Jen has just posted another entry to our family website with four cute stories from our middle kids. They’re at a fun age, 2.5 and 5. Lots of interesting and fun things come from their hearts and minds out through their tiny mouths. Definitely worth the read. 🙂 www.WeTheCampbells.net

An Idea For Professional Sports

Posted on November 1st, 2006 :: 2:44 amJanuary 20th, 2010 :: 12:36 am by Greg

I was really bothered by baseball getting WAY too much attention from the TV sports segments well into the football season this year, and was talking with Jen recently about how all the sports should get out of each other’s way. We know it won’t happen (thanks to the commercialization of all the pro sports)…

Vacation

Posted on November 1st, 2006 :: 2:18 amJanuary 20th, 2010 :: 12:38 am by Greg

Some of you reading this know that we have been on vacation for the past week. Now, all of you reading this know that. 🙂 It was a very different vacation in that we did not know where we would be spending it even up to the eve of the first day of the week…

Making God In Our Own Image

Posted on October 24th, 2006 :: 2:06 pmJanuary 20th, 2010 :: 12:39 am by Greg

On a few occasions lately, I have come across a story, or a verse from the Bible that doesn’t seem to match what I know of who God is. From my understanding of him from the whole of the Bible, and from living life with him every day, interacting with him, getting to know him……

Most of you reading this probably know that I am a big enough Buffalo Bills fan to have my own Bills podcast, the Buffalo Bills Review. I even have a page on the Bills website where they let me post my various thoughts on our team. But so far this season, nothing can compare to…

Six Miles Of Fun

Posted on October 24th, 2006 :: 10:31 amJanuary 20th, 2010 :: 12:41 am by Greg

After realizing that life has been going a bit too fast for the Campbells recently, we decided to make sure last weekend was left completely open and free. Me being somewhat subdued by a head cold did help that a bit, but we really did a good job of having nothing scheduled for the entire…

An islamic website is apparently taking on Apple for the clearly offensive designof their 5th Avenue Store in NYC. Religion is… fascinating. Read the story here…
