Pizza Makers

Posted on February 10th, 2010 :: 9:49 am by Greg

We decided, sort of last-minute, to head out to one of our favorite places last night (Leo’s Pizza) and take advantage of the kids eat free Tuesday special ( …we have a lot of kids!!) We also got to drop by and celebrate a birthday with some friends, so it was a fun night out!…

Another One Bites The Dust

Posted on January 22nd, 2010 :: 1:22 am by Greg

After only about five weeks of being fish caretakers, we’ve managed to hold two funerals. I don’t think those are very good numbers. (And the fish would probably agree.) Tonight we “buried” (Ahem… flushed) our second fishy in a “touching” ceremony that involved Alex and Kirstie eagerly watching every move as Dad “fished” the motionless…

Related Posts Plug-In

Posted on January 22nd, 2010 :: 12:16 am by Greg

You may have noticed the new look around here. GregsHead.net is now a WordPress blog, and is sporting a new customized template, and a couple neat, new plug-ins. Jen and I spent probably most of an hour tonight making use of the related posts plug-in. It was so fun! We were looking up an old…

Stealth Mode

Posted on January 7th, 2010 :: 9:32 am by Greg

I am attempting to get back to my normal routine today, following about two weeks of semi-vaction. I’ve never done such a thing before (that I can recall) so I am still trying to figure out if it was good or bad. šŸ™‚ It was good in that for two weeks I got to be…

Light. Eat!

Posted on December 23rd, 2009 :: 10:44 amJanuary 22nd, 2010 :: 12:55 am by Greg

Emma, our 21-month-old daughter, woke up yesterday with an upset tummy. It wasn’t awful, but she did a “dry heave” and definitely was not herself. I felt so bad for her, but also just could not figure out where she had gotten any sort of a stomach bug from?? We hadn’t been around anyone who…

Sleep Police

Posted on November 17th, 2009 :: 10:05 am by Greg

It’s been a long stretch of early wakings and late beddings in the Campbell home recently. For some reason bedtimes have been consistently pushed back and for other reasons the kiddos have been rising earlier than normal. This makes for grumpy kids, many bad interactions throughout the day, tired Mom, and not as fun days…

Kids Not Flushing? Try Paying Them.

Posted on November 5th, 2009 :: 8:39 pm by Greg

We are trying something new in our house this week. We have six people in training here, ages 10 and under. One of the problem areas currently is the toilet. Finding ourselves quite tired of finding a toilet full of … stuff… we instituted a new policy. (Nothing else has seemed to work so far,…

Serious Discussions

Posted on November 5th, 2009 :: 10:38 am by Greg

After seeing her Mom crying while listening to the Beauty Will Rise album in the van yesterday, Kirstie seemed to be the most affected by the story of a five year old girl going to heaven. (Perhaps because she is also five years old herself?) She told me about it when they got home, and…

Vote For Alex!

Posted on October 9th, 2009 :: 2:15 pm by Greg

I received an email today, addressed to our son Alex, from the owner of the fantasy football site that is hosting our family league this season. Apparently, he has been chosen as one of 20 finalists for “Best Team Name”! How fun! His team is The Determinators. If you go to this link, you can…

Burning The Candle at Both Ends

Posted on September 10th, 2009 :: 6:41 am by Greg

So this week I’ve been trying mornings. It seemed recently like with all that I had to do, I was working later and later into the evening, then making dinner for my family way too late, and then having a not enjoyable couple hours with my kids. (Then exhausted once it was just me and…
