Favorite Flavors

Posted on July 17th, 2007 :: 8:22 am by Greg

Our grocery store had Perry’s ice cream (from Akron, NY) on sale last week, so we picked up a couple half gallons. One was a new flavor, White Lightning. It’s dark chocolate ice cream, with streaks of white mint goo throughout. I had a dish of it for the first time last night and, it’s…

Ten Years and Counting

Posted on July 16th, 2007 :: 1:54 am by Greg

Today I got to tell the story of how God arranged for me to marry Jen. Our friends Ryan & Charmagne (he’s not Ryan… he’s Chi.) were over for the day and somehow I mentioned that Jen & I never dated, and that piqued Charmagne’s interest, enough that she asked me to share our story….

Picky Eater

Posted on July 16th, 2007 :: 1:22 am by Greg

We were invited to join some friends tonight for a little campfire in their back yard, complete with S’mores! I know Steve from playing basketball together for a few years now, but we’ve not gotten to spend much time together with the rest of the families. Somehow the conversation migrated to my time in Venezuela….

Lurkers

Posted on July 14th, 2007 :: 9:47 pm by Greg

You know who you are. You are the ones who read this blog regularly. Perhaps even stopping by daily. You know the ins and outs of life in the Campbell home – and even crazier, life in GregsHead. But even though the link below invites you to comment… you never do. You… are the Lurker….

Busy Tonight?

Posted on July 13th, 2007 :: 4:01 pm by Greg

Jen & I will be singing tonight at a new coffee house in Webster, NY. If you live in this area, and happen to stop by the ol’ blog page before 7:30 or so… come out and join us. New place, don’t know what we’ll get, but I just went through the songs we’ll be…

NHL Hockey… Outdoors?

Posted on July 13th, 2007 :: 2:15 pm by Greg

Rumor has it that the Sabres/Penguins game scheduled for January 1st, 2008 in Buffalo could be held outdoors at Ralph Wilson Stadium!!! How cool is that?!? We would really like to be there, if that ends up being the case. [Read the Buffalo News article that mentions this possible location for the game.]

They’re Baaaack

Posted on July 13th, 2007 :: 2:11 pm by Greg

When I went out for a “quick” visit to the post office today, I was reminded suddenly of just what is going on this weekend. See, in the middle of July, our town hosts the largest outdoor pageant in the world. Yes, folks… I said THE WORLD. Our town boasts a population of just about…

Virtual Reality… Reality?

Posted on July 13th, 2007 :: 11:30 am by Greg

A friend sent me this link the other day… it’s to a new/different version of Nintendo’s Wii. Check out the demo video on that page. Incredible. Virtual reality may not be a (perfect) reality, but it’s getting close. There is technology coming (or maybe already in use) that will allow a screen to also be…

Julia’s Perspective

Posted on July 12th, 2007 :: 11:06 pm by Greg

We met some new friends last night when we went to the Apple CIDER picnic (an Apple User’s Group in Rochester) on our way to the Monroe County Fair. Both of those events were quite fun, but one of our new friends had a keen observation of our youngest daughter after only knowing her for……
