I am a big Buffalo Bills fan. Yes, believe it or not, there are still some of us out here. Though I may be ridiculed, though I may see little reward for my undying loyalty and eternal optimism, yet to do persist. Many have puzzled over the operational decisions of our team in the past…

The Buffalo Bills are Bad! (But How Do We Know?)
The news from One Bills Drive yesterday was that starting Pro Bowl safety, Jairus Byrd is out “indefinitely” with a nagging groin injury. That is not good news for the Bills, but it is definitely consistent with the pattern of recent history. If you only follow the Buffalo Bills from a distance, it’s easy to…
2010 NFL Season Begins!
The NFL Football season “officially” begins tonight (8/8 @ 8 ET) with the Hall of Fame game in Canton, OH. The Cincinnati Bengals play the Dallas Cowboys, and even though it’s pre-season football, we can’t wait to watch it here in the Campbell household! It will be fun to see a former Bill (T.O.) in…
A Positive Look at the 2010 Buffalo Bills
Today is the day that the Buffalo Bills begin assembling at St. John Fisher. They have all been preparing in their own ways, separately and together as a team for the upcoming season. Pretty much since the last season ended. But tomorrow, when they take to the practice field, in front of a couple thousand…
Thoughts on the Buffalo Bills 2010 Draft
You really never know right away how well a team fared with their draft selections. There are some who love every pick, some who love a few, and of course, many who hate everything about the picks. And all this despite the fact that you rarely know how a draft actually pans out for at…
The NFL Network Comes to Hulu!
Following up on yesterday’s recommended Hulu show … they announced today that there is a slew of NFL content now available on their site. They even have their own channel there! This is great news, and I hope to see more. Perhaps next season NFL GameDay will be there as well? (Come on, NFL!) Until…
Bills’ Choice Continues to Baffle
According to this blog post, former NFL head coach Brian Billick was very interested in the Bills vacant head coaching spot—filled yesterday by Chan Gailey—but the Bills showed no interest in him. Marty Schottenheimer has said the same thing. In Marty’s case it’s interesting in that he and Bills’ GM Buddy Nix are good friends,…
Seriously, Bills?
After all of the talk of Bill Cower, and Marty Schottenheimer, and Mike Shannahan. Even Jon Gruden and several more lesser known, but highly-qualified candidates. After all of the “due process”. The Bills announced today that Chan Gailey will be their next head coach. Chan Gailey. Former Dallas head coach (for only two seasons). Former…
Regarding The Buffalo Bills
Perhaps you have heard that the professional football team nearest to the Campbell family hearts both geographically and emotionally has recently been making some changes. Starting a couple months ago when they fired their head coach, Dick Jauron. (Well, they really started just before the season began when they fired the offensive coordinator, Turk Schonert,…
NFL Players Are Amazing
Are these for real? They look for real. But, really? I like the warning before Mauroney does his stunt, “Do not attempt unless you are an NFL athlete.” (Perhaps not even then?) I know these are old, but my Dad sent me some in an email today, and they’re just fun, so… enjoy!
