Author: Greg

Born in the now distant land of Springfield, OH, and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, I met my future wife Jen in the 8th grade in Earth Science (she was the girl with the big hair and glasses across the room...) Now reside in Palmyra, NY after having found ourselves residing in various homes and domiciles all over the country as we traveled and sang about the Kingdom of God with our growing brood of kids in tow. I now get to design websites and other things graphical for folks around me, as well as sell Apple (Computer) products to anyone who may be interested. An Article on Jesus Christ / Joseph Smith

Posted on March 29th, 2007 :: 11:53 am by Greg

Not sure how many of the readers of this blog also read my Newsvine column (it is linked to the right over there at the top of the page…) so I thought I might link to an article I posted there today re: the DVD Jesus Christ / Joseph Smith. I also included links to…

Anti-Mormon, or Pro-People?

Posted on March 28th, 2007 :: 11:58 pm by Greg

There’s quite the firestorm happening out in the western portion of our country this week. Following the distribution of nearly 500,000 DVDs on Sunday by several hundred volunteers across the US, and abroad, the reaction has been swift and (at least to me) surprising. TV stations and newspapers across Utah and around Phoenix, AZ are…

The Best

Posted on March 28th, 2007 :: 10:25 pm by Greg

We have had some good teams here in Buffalo, but we’re not used to having the best team. Just watched the Sabres (via TiVo) beat the second place team in the Eastern Conference (the New Jersey Devils) 4-3, with the third NJ goal scored with 1 second left. The Sabres looked talented, confident, cool and…

I’m STILL Full

Posted on March 28th, 2007 :: 6:53 am by Greg

Man, yesterday was all about the food. And the friends. But lots of food. 🙂 For lunch, we made our first visit to the India House buffet in Victor with our friends the Velasquezes, and a couple of their relatives… it was a big, fun party, with lots of good food (gotta love a buffet!)…

Rainy Days and Mondays

Posted on March 26th, 2007 :: 8:35 am by Greg

So, after I posted the previous post this morning, about losing that article and stuff, I remembered that really the day has not started that well in other ways… I was just feeling “down” in the shower and I remembered that first, my regular morning walk had been interrupted by a thunderstorm. I had to…

Ouch…

Posted on March 26th, 2007 :: 7:58 am by Greg

I was inspired to write a fairly long post from a conversation I had over the weekend at about 1:30am last night. Just after 2am I was done and ready to post it, but wanted to change the title. I tabbed through the fields of this page here, and went to far, so I quickly…

Posted on March 23rd, 2007 :: 4:51 pm by Greg

Some folks look forward to spring time because it means Opening Day. We are some of those folks… but it’s a different sort of Opening Day. We’re not talking baseball… we’re talkin’ CHILL & GRILL!!!! We have a little slideshow for you of a few photos from our Opening Day experience. 🙂 Yes, that is…

Carpet From God, TV and Other Web Fun

Posted on March 21st, 2007 :: 3:05 pm by Greg

Well, most of the clean up is done, and a neat-o story from today is… I called a carpet-laying friend of ours today during a break from cleaning up and asked if he possibly had any scraps of carpet he’d be OK to part with. I told him the situation, and that we had lost…
