Author: Greg

Born in the now distant land of Springfield, OH, and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, I met my future wife Jen in the 8th grade in Earth Science (she was the girl with the big hair and glasses across the room...) Now reside in Palmyra, NY after having found ourselves residing in various homes and domiciles all over the country as we traveled and sang about the Kingdom of God with our growing brood of kids in tow. I now get to design websites and other things graphical for folks around me, as well as sell Apple (Computer) products to anyone who may be interested. I Love The Sky!

Posted on July 30th, 2007 :: 12:17 am by Greg

I am simply captivated by the sky. I always have been. I love looking at the night sky the most, I’d say… but really anything that happens in the vast expanse is just mesmerizing to me. Various cloud formations, beautiful colors at sunset (not too many sunrises in the ol’ memory banks…), and I do…

Visitation Hours Are Over

Posted on July 30th, 2007 :: 12:04 am by Greg

This weekend, we spent time with so many people!!! And I LOVED it!!! I actually figured out that we spent twelve straight hours with friends yesterday. From 11am (ish) to after 11pm (ish) we were with three different families! Two of those were planned, then the third was a super cool surprise. And, you could…

I Believe In The Holy Catholic Church…

Posted on July 28th, 2007 :: 12:39 am by Greg

If you have not heard, the Pope decided recently to pull back the reins a bit on those loosey-goosey Catholics, and get back to the things that really made Catholics, well… Catholic. Not only did he decide to do Mass in Latin once again (I think it’s called the “Tridentine Mass”), now he has said…

The Weekend That Was, Is, And Is To Come

Posted on July 28th, 2007 :: 12:11 am by Greg

Usually I don’t tell about a busy weekend in the middle of it, but I thought I’d make an exception today. I told a friend via e-mail (actually, it was on Facebook) that this weekend was going to be packed full… and I just wanted to write it down so I could remember what a…

Ring Day

Posted on July 26th, 2007 :: 10:59 pm by Greg

Today was Ring Day. My mom calls it our Engagement anniversary. But we never really said anything like that… “We’re engaged!” We just sorta decided to get married. In 1997. Around July 16/17. Then we went to pick out some rings. And they had to do something to get them ready… so… we waited. Until…

Hot Stuff!

Posted on July 26th, 2007 :: 5:28 pm by Greg

Last night Jen and I went downstairs to our basement game table to play a game and spend a little time together after the kids went to bed. It was fun! We played a crazy card game called Charge It! where the point of the game it to rack up as much credit card debt…

It’s Got To Slow Down Eventually…

Posted on July 26th, 2007 :: 4:21 pm by Greg

Yesterday Apple announced it’s third quarter earnings, and actually it was astounding. They broke all kinds of their own records, and beat whatever estimates smart financial guys had predicted. Basically… they rock. Way more Macs sold than ever in one quarter. More iPods than this quarter one year ago. Tons of iPhones (and that was…

Facebook

Posted on July 25th, 2007 :: 4:10 pm by Greg

I finally decided to take the plunge and actually use a Facebook account I set up not long ago. I have heard its coolness praised over and over on the various tech podcasts I listen to, so I finally decided to try it out. Pretty neat so far. Have reconnected with one friend from high…
