God Is In Our Family, Too

Posted on January 1st, 2007 :: 1:58 am by Greg

Just a quickie here… I was reading a story to Kirstie tonight, and we got to a part where I was reading about something that God made. The narrator of the story was saying something about God (I forget what) and Kirsten interrupts to tell me, “God’s in our family, too!” Ha! That was awesome….

2006

Posted on January 1st, 2007 :: 1:56 am by Greg

I must begin this look back at 2006 with a short commentary on what we just stayed up to witness as a family on our TV. The Ball Drop. Every year it’s the same thing… ridiculous people saying ridiculous things (for hours!) while surrounded by a million other ridiculously dressed people waiting for the clock…

Year’s End

Posted on December 31st, 2006 :: 11:28 pm by Greg

Well, we have 30 minutes of this year left, and I just wanted to write a quick post to the ol’ blog… for no particular reason. I hope to post a few more things once the family is in bed and the house is quiet. We’re just having a fairly “quiet” New Year’s celebration here…

More Hospital Visits

Posted on December 22nd, 2006 :: 12:05 pm by Greg

(Sorry, this is kind of old news by now, but it has been very busy in the office so far this week, catching up from a week missed. I meant to post it the day it happened, but never got to it. Hopefully the many-days-old version is fairly accurate still…) 🙂 Just Can’t Get Enough…Saturday…

Where We Stand

Posted on December 18th, 2006 :: 3:16 am by Greg

Well, there is way more than I can or should write right now. It’s 3am, and we spent today doing laundry, dishes, more laundry, changing the sheets on every bed, still more laundry, listening to the Bills game (it was blacked out here…), folding laundry, watching Santa Clause 2 (the Tim Allen movie) and then…

Hard Day

Posted on December 13th, 2006 :: 1:00 pm by Greg

This day started out like many have recently. I was tired from the long day before, and overwhelmed with how many different things I needed to do this day. I fell asleep by 4:30am or so the night before, and then, with the regular hustle and bustle of life around here (except perhaps a bit…

SNOW!!! (And a few other things…)

Posted on December 8th, 2006 :: 11:26 am by Greg

Well, we finally have some snow. I’ll put some photos up here later. Probably four inches of the fluffy, lake effect white stuff. Love it!!! Had a great concert last night again. Just a fun evening in general. Lots of friends came out for the event. Made some passersby dance and smile as they were…

Sneaky Jesus?

Posted on December 7th, 2006 :: 12:50 pmJanuary 20th, 2010 :: 12:25 am by Greg

In today’s Gospel reading… we see a bit more nefarious side of our hero, Jesus. Could it be that he was trying to mislead his own kin? Could it be that he was twisting the truth… or not telling the whole truth? Could Jesus be that sneaky??? The boys and I are going through the…

So Far, So Good

Posted on December 7th, 2006 :: 1:43 amJanuary 20th, 2010 :: 12:28 am by Greg

I may have mentioned here, but I know I have mentioned elsewhere, that this week is going to be totally insane. I have lots of open projects for Basic Web Design & Graphics, and we are also doing a Christmas Concert Blitz this week! Concerts every night from Tues-Friday, and then two on Saturday! Fun!…
