Author: Greg

Born in the now distant land of Springfield, OH, and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, I met my future wife Jen in the 8th grade in Earth Science (she was the girl with the big hair and glasses across the room...) Now reside in Palmyra, NY after having found ourselves residing in various homes and domiciles all over the country as we traveled and sang about the Kingdom of God with our growing brood of kids in tow. I now get to design websites and other things graphical for folks around me, as well as sell Apple (Computer) products to anyone who may be interested. It’s Fun To Pretend

Posted on October 1st, 2007 :: 10:31 am by Greg

Yesterday was the last day of the season for our most favoritist ice cream spot, Chill & Grill. (You may have heard me mention them a time or two…) We have been increasing our visits over the last week or so, just to make sure we get in our fill for the winter shut down…

Changing Seasons

Posted on September 29th, 2007 :: 1:46 am by Greg

Fall has begun, and that means that we’re coming to the very end of the ice cream season. It’s been a good one. Many visits from the Chis. My Dad has been up several times for ice cream. Friends from all over the region have met us there – including a surprise visit from our…

In The Light

Posted on September 29th, 2007 :: 1:38 am by Greg

A couple things recently have reminded me of the letter in the Bible called first John. I was reminded of a verse I have written about here before. John tells us in that letter that we are taught by the Holy Spirit directly. We don’t need others to teach us. (NOTE: I wouldn’t say that…

Naples Grape Festival

Posted on September 29th, 2007 :: 1:10 am by Greg

Tomorrow and Sunday is the annual Grape Festival in Naples, NY. It’s about 35-40 minutes from our house, but we’ve never gotten to go. We’ve had a grape pie or two from the event, but never witnessed it in person. We happen to have an open schedule, so we’re planning to go! It’s a neat…

Looking (Linking?) Back

Posted on September 29th, 2007 :: 12:58 am by Greg

What a week! I’m sitting here on my porch with a nice hot cup of tea, at one in the morning, following an hour of trying to restore the network here in my house… have I mentioned before that I have four routers on my network for six or seven computers? Yeah… I need an…

Fall Is Here… Sorta

Posted on September 24th, 2007 :: 1:50 pm by Greg

A weekend ago, the weather here was just fantastic. Highs in the 60s, beautiful sunny, clear days. Amazing fall weather. But then last week we were back in the 80s!! Yuck! And today, I left the house this morning for some errands around town, and felt just fine walking in my jeans and black t-shirt….

Anyone Still Here?

Posted on September 24th, 2007 :: 9:45 am by Greg

It’s been a quiet week at GregsHead.net, but as I’m sure you all know, that means it has not been at Greg’s House. The Campbell home has been busy with everyday things that a growing family of six has to do. Regular everyday things. But Dad has been super busy with lots of new work!…

They Killed God

Posted on September 20th, 2007 :: 9:12 am by Greg

Kirstie joined us for the morning Bible read today. She’s three, and says some really cute things. Perhaps the following is both cute, and insightful? :-) After reading the story of the first part of the night Jesus was arrested and taken before the Jewish leaders, then Pilate, and then Herod, we were talking about…

A Bunch of Good News

Posted on September 14th, 2007 :: 1:30 pm by Greg

It’s time for some good news on this blog. Enough of this pessimism! You’re bringin’ me down, GregsHead! :-) But anyway… it’s been an interesting week of goodness. It was highlighted last night with a wonderful evening with my wife. She arranged for a babysitter and we went out for a couple burgers, and later…

Enough of That

Posted on September 14th, 2007 :: 10:17 am by Greg

So, today we read a little further in Luke (which is just a little later the same night that Jesus said “Enough sword talk!“) and would you believe that Jesus said it again? One of the disciples pulls out a sword when the mob comes to arrest Jesus (which, makes sense from what Jesus had…
