Some of you may know that I hold Steven Curtis Champan – and particularly his music – in high regard. More than that, there’s definitely some strange connection I have with him. When I hear his stuff, I just completely identify with it. Those aren’t the right words. I can’t really explain it. It’s almost…

Born in the now distant land of Springfield, OH, and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, I met my future wife Jen in the 8th grade in Earth Science (she was the girl with the big hair and glasses across the room...) Now reside in Palmyra, NY after having found ourselves residing in various homes and domiciles all over the country as we traveled and sang about the Kingdom of God with our growing brood of kids in tow. I now get to design websites and other things graphical for folks around me, as well as sell Apple (Computer) products to anyone who may be interested.

Quick Kirstie Story
This morning, 3-year-old Kirsten joined Dad and the boys for our morning Bible reading. We are near the end of the book of Luke, and Jesus is getting people riled up – almost the time that they killed him. Which also happened to be Passover, when they kill lambs. I read the words, “The day…
Happy Birthday, CAYA!
Today is the 5th anniversary of one of our albums, Come As You Are. CAYA, as it is known around here, is CD that I recommend to people who don’t have any of our CDs. I think the Christmas album is my favorite overall, but this one is the best collection of songs that captures…
Growing Up "Right"
I was downstairs for a bit this morning (baking some chocolate chip cookies, actually…) and overheard Jen and the kids in the living room. They were watching the Price is Right, and I could hear things like, “That’s $92!?? No way!!” and, “Yes!!! Michael got $1.00!!!! Now [the next person] needs to get $1.00 too!”…
Mormons, Catholics, Santeras… Oh my!
So, the other night I was going through our video podcasts, getting caught up on the ones I hadn’t yet seen. There’s a little blue dot next to the new ones, it’s really cool. (We use FrontRow on our Mac Mini, hooked up to our TV in our living room.) We watch probably 8-10 different…
Evidence
Here’s a little bit of evidence that I have been unable to get to my blog very much this past week or so… Yesterday, August 26th, went by without me noticing even once that it was the fourth anniversary of my blog’s existence! :-) I had been looking ahead to that date all month, planning…
Apple Event September 5th
Another Apple Event is just around the corner. Apple is planning to hold a special event on September 5th, according to Arstechnica. Most rumor sites are expecting Apple’s updated line of iPods to be revealed, including a possible full screen video iPod. (The iPhone without the Phone.) Also rumored, iPhone Nanos and video-capable Nanos. (Perhaps…
Alone
I’m alone today. Grandma & Grandpa took Jen & the kids to the NY State Fair today! I have some new projects I am working on, and a Bills show to record tonight, so I stayed here. It’s very weird, having no one around. Especially when there are always five other people here. :-) Well,…
Great Words!
I have noticed lately that I use a lot of words that are not really words. Including quite often on this blog! I noticed that a commercial I saw also used one of these psuedo english words. They are words formed from the incorrect pronunciation of two or more words. I figured it might be…
Ice Cream Game!
Turkey Hill’s Ice Cream Journal posted a link to this game today so I thought I would pass it on to you! :-) It’s kinda hard so far! Enjoy!
