Author: Greg

Born in the now distant land of Springfield, OH, and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, I met my future wife Jen in the 8th grade in Earth Science (she was the girl with the big hair and glasses across the room...) Now reside in Palmyra, NY after having found ourselves residing in various homes and domiciles all over the country as we traveled and sang about the Kingdom of God with our growing brood of kids in tow. I now get to design websites and other things graphical for folks around me, as well as sell Apple (Computer) products to anyone who may be interested. I Sleep Because I Have To

Posted on April 26th, 2007 :: 8:55 am by Greg

After watching the Ducks beat the Canucks (hey… that rhymed!) last night in the second game of the double-header on Versus, I decided to watch the NFL Lives I had TiVo-ed. It’s draft time, ya know! But when I started those, I remembered that I needed to clear space on the Mac Mini so that…

Posted on April 26th, 2007 :: 8:42 am by Greg

Unfortunately we did not get to watch game one of round two last night as we were previously scheduled at a Pampered Chef party at a friend’s house… (I had tried to TiVo the game, but later found out that somehow I had scheduled it to record TONIGHT’s game!!! NOT the SABRES!!!!) So, we got…

ENFP

Posted on April 24th, 2007 :: 3:39 pm by Greg

Remember I posted that personality test the other day? Where I was a “Journalist”? Well, I found further explanation of the strange letters… ENFP outgoing, social, disorganized, easily talked into doing silly things, spontaneous, wild and crazy, acts without thinking, good at getting people to have fun, pleasure seeking, irresponsible, physically affectionate, risk taker, thrill…

Cooling Off

Posted on April 23rd, 2007 :: 4:09 pm by Greg

Me and my hard-working ‘puters can’t take temps hovering around 90 degrees! I have relocated my office (temporarily, and just to finish up a thing or two) to the BASEMENT. It is much nicer down here. There’s a nice table, and it’s a much nicer temperature! (Probably in the 50s) ๐Ÿ™‚ I need a better…

Looks like the Sabres/Rangers series will begin Wednesday night in Buffalo. The Lower Hudson Online (the Journal News) is reporting that the Rangers have received the preliminary schedule. I can’t wait! Go Sabres!!!

Sweet tea. 8 tea bags (your choice of flavor, I just use regular black tea) 1 gallon of water (approx) 2 cups of sugar Boil the water, add sugar and stir. Remove from heat, steep tea to desired strength. Pour over ice. (In a pitcher, and then I usally add ice to my cup and…

Damage Control

Posted on April 23rd, 2007 :: 11:20 am by Greg

I have been refraining from any comment on the events that transpired at Virginia Tech last week. I did post the one e-mail we received from our friend at VT. I thought it was a good “different” perspective on what happened. There was no need to rehash the events “news-style” here. It just felt over-done…

Another Personality Test?

Posted on April 23rd, 2007 :: 10:59 am by Greg

Following a link my parents sent in an email to a site I had heard of before, but did not previously sign up for… I created an account at StumbleUpon.com and took their personality test. Gotta love those personality tests… ENFP – “Journalist”. Uncanny sense of the motivations of others. Life is an exciting drama….

Campbells of the Woods

Posted on April 23rd, 2007 :: 9:24 am by Greg

Well, not really the woods so much, but we sure did spend a LOT of time outdoors this weekend!!! I had really two goals this weekend. I wanted to clean out our van, which was just disgusting after a whole winter of not being cleaned. Then, I hoped we could get all the sticks and…

Ryan Miller’s Big Save!

Posted on April 21st, 2007 :: 4:51 pm by Greg

I wrote up a nice review of the game last night, but a website crashed my browser ๐Ÿ™ I was looking for a video of Ryan Miller’s big save on NBC.com and some video on their site made my browser shut down ๐Ÿ™ So, no good review… just click the photo above to watch the…
